Last week I found myself alone on the lake for a few hours. After a visit to Rosa's in San Juan, I popped over to San Pedro for lunch and a quiet stroll. It was the first time in a while I wasn't working and just enjoying, alone. Of course I couldn't stop myself from witnessing the inspiration around me. Or suppress my desire to create and tell stories. Their stories.
And it ultimately reminded me of the reason I have been living in this country for well over 5 years. The people.
Life is not put on pause while waiting for the storm to pass. And this one rainy afternoon in San Pedro la Laguna, I saw courage and hope and the desire to keep moving forward in the people around me.
Forever my inspiration.
